    I enrolled in a four week workshop to experience the basics of Qigong with Adrian Miller. I was not sure what to expect having no previous experience with Qigong. I was looking for a practice that would promote relaxation in the body and more specifically in my unruly mind. I was also looking to improve my sleep, both in duration and quality. The movement and meditation exercises we practiced during each class were gentle but effective enough to encourage me to ‘ground’ myself within my body to start the relaxation process. At the end of each class I definitely did feel more relaxed and calm in myself and slept better. I have found when I incorporate Qigong into my day it improves my general health, mental health and emotional health through movement, breathing and meditation. Its an enjoyable process!
